We quit Age of Conan yesterday. The sub was due to expire and we have been bored since level 40, Though our main issues were technical.
We had horrendous lag, like 10k spikes every few minutes, freezes and regular disconnects. We questioned our internet provider and tested telephone lines, ( I had numerous phone calls and reports to BT) we tested wired and wireless. I fiddled endlessly with the router settings, Vista settings, switching things off and on and blah blah blah. All to no avail. When you disconnect as a group it really f*cks up and we were often stuck for another 30 minutes while that sorted itself out.
We fired up LoTRO again and patched. I played for a while on max settings (including DX10), the lag was 68.2
Thats rather telling...
